GFWC International Day of Service

The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), the organization of which Strongsville Women's League is a proud member, is sponsoring an International Day of Service on September 26th. This year's initiative focuses on helping to end domestic and sexual violence in communities across the United States and around the world.

Strongsville Women's League is honored to participate by collecting donations for Laura's Home, which provides a safe bridge from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency for women and children. Laura's Home offers 166 beds in 61 rooms, serving individuals and families who are rebuilding their lives. Their most urgent needs include:

- Twin-size bed sheets

- Pillows

- Full-size toiletries

- Feminine hygiene products

Donations may be brought to our general meeting on Wednesday, September 2nd.
