Membership shall be open to all interested adults. All rights and privileges of members of Strongsville Women’s League of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs shall be defined by the by-laws.

An Associate Member is encouraged to attend general, department and/or committee meetings and to become involved in other SWL projects according to their desires.
An Associate may not hold office or GFWC department chairmanship. They may not make motions on the floor or vote. They may not represent SWL in other organizations without consent of the Board.
To obtain Associate Membership, a letter must be submitted to the Board. The applicant shall be a member of the organization for at least five years from the date of entrance into membership.
An Associate may be reinstated as an Active Member upon request to the President or Membership Chairman.
Associates moving out of Strongsville may retain their status as long as they pay dues on a yearly basis.
